Aragocor Minerals · Engineered by nature

From the sea
to industry.

Ocean-derived oolitic aragonite, harvested from the clear waters of The Bahamas. Higher reactivity than mined limestone, a lower pH ceiling, and consistent, verified spec — supplied by the ton or the bag.

The mineral

A distinctive calcium carbonate.

Oolitic aragonite is a naturally occurring CaCO₃ with an orthorhombic crystal habit, precipitated grain-by-grain in the warm, shallow waters of The Bahamas. That structure is what makes it more reactive — and more available — than mined calcite.

High purity
97.8% CaCO₃ representative, with Fe₂O₃ ≤ 0.04%.
Orthorhombic structure
The metastable aragonite crystal form — more soluble than calcite.
Low heavy metals
Comfortably inside AWWA, ANSI & ASTM regulatory limits.
Soft pH buffering
Buffers toward 8.2 on demand. Buffers, not blasts.
