Oolitic aragonite is a marine-origin calcium carbonate used in turf and landscape programs as a calcium source, an acidity-neutralizing carbonate and a graded mineral component. Composition is 96.17% CaCO3 with 38.51% elemental calcium.
Calcium and alkalinity
As a carbonate, aragonite supplies calcium and alkalinity. Soil pH, reserve acidity, rate, placement and irrigation determine field response.
Root-zone particle design
For construction, topdressing or amendment use, the complete sieve curve and fines fraction support compatibility with the existing root-zone blend.
Hydraulic behavior
